010、A Silent Love – Valentine Special Story 無聲的愛情 – 情人節的故事特輯
From the very beginning, the girl's family objected strongly on her dating this young man.
從一開始，女孩的家人就強烈反對她和這年輕人約會。
Saying that it had got to do with family background, and that the girl would have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.
說這和家庭背景有關，而且如果女孩和他在一起的話，那她往後的日子將遭遇痛苦。
Due to family's pressure, the couple quarreled very often.
由於受到家庭的壓力，這對情侣經常吵架。
Though the girl loved the young man deeply, she always asked him: “How deep is your love for me?”
雖然女孩深深愛著這個年輕人，但她總是問他：「你對我的愛有多深？」
As the young man was not good with his words, this often caused the girl to be very upset.
由於這個年輕人不善於言詞，這往往會讓女孩非常沮喪。
With that and the family's pressure, the girl often vented her anger on him.
由於這一點以及家人的壓力，女孩經常把他當作她發洩憤怒的對象。
As for him, he only endured it in silence.
至於他，他只有默默地忍受著。
After a couple of years, the young man finally graduated and decided to further his studies overseas.
幾年後，這個年輕人終於畢業了，決定到海外繼續深造。
Before leaving, he proposed to the girl: “I'm not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I'll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?”
離開之前，他向女孩求婚：「我不善言詞。但我所知道的就是我愛你。如果妳允許我的話，我將在往後日子中照顧妳。至於妳的家人，我會盡我所能來談談他們。妳願意嫁給我嗎？」
The girl agreed, and with the young man's determination, the family finally gave in and agreed to let them get married.
女孩同意了，並且憑著這個年輕人的決心，女方家庭終於放棄，並同意讓他們結婚。
So before he left, they got engaged.
所以在他離開之前，他們訂婚了。
The girl went out to the working society, whereas the young man was overseas, continuing his studies.
這個女孩走入了職場，而那年輕人在海外，繼續他的學業。
They sent their love through emails and phone calls.
他們通過電子郵件和電話傳達了彼此的愛。
Though it was hard, both never thought of giving up.
雖然很堅難，但兩人都未曾考慮過會放棄。
One day, while the girl was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car that lost control.
有一天，在女孩去上班的途中，她被一輛失控的汽車撞倒了。
When she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed.
當她醒來時，她看到她的父母在她的床邊。
She realized that she was badly injured.
她意識到她受了重傷。
Seeing her mom crying, she wanted to comfort her.
看到她媽媽在哭，她想安慰她。
But she realized that all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh.
但她意識到她所能從她嘴裡發出來聲音，只是一聲嘆息。
She had lost her voice.
她失去了聲音。
The doctor said that the impact on her brain had caused her to lose her voice.
醫生說她的大腦的受到了影響，使她失去了聲音。
Listening to her parents’ comfort, but with nothing coming out from her, she broke down.
聆聽著父母親的安慰，但她卻無法說出任何一句話來，她崩潰了。
During the stay in hospital, besides silence cry, it was still just silence cry that companied her.
住院期間，除了沉默的哭泣，還是只有沉默的哭泣伴隨著她。
Upon reaching home, everything seemed to be the same except for the ringing tone of the phone which pierced into her heart every time it rang.
一回到家後，一切似乎都是一樣的，除了手機的鈴聲。每次響起時，都會刺傷她的心。
She did not wish to let the young man know.
她不想讓這年輕人知道。
And not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she did not wish to wait any longer.
她不想成為他的負擔，她寫了一封信給他，告訴他說她不想再等了。
With that, she sent the ring back to him.
就因為這樣，她把戒指寄回給他。
In return, the young man sent millions and millions of replies and countless of phone calls.
這年輕人寄出了數百萬次的回覆，以及多到不可勝數的電話，做為回應。
All the girl could do, besides crying, was still kept crying.
而女孩所能做的，除了哭泣外，還是一直哭泣。
The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything and be happy.
女孩的父母親決定搬家，希望她最終會忘記一切並且快樂。
With a new environment, the girl learned sign language and started a new life, telling herself everyday that she had to forget the young man.
在新的環境中，女孩學會了手語並開始了新的生活。每天告訴自己她必須忘記那個年輕人。
One day her friend came and told her that he was back.
有一天，她的朋友過來告訴她，他回來了。
She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her.
她請求她的朋友不要讓他知道她發生了什麼事。
Since then, there wasn't any more news of him.
從那以後，她再也沒有聽到關於他的消息了。
A year had passed, and one day her friend came with an envelope, containing an invitation card for the young man's wedding.
一年過去了，一天，她的朋友帶來了一個信封，裡面有一張年輕人的結婚喜帖。
The girl was shattered.
女孩的心破碎了。
When she opened the letter, she saw her name in it, instead.
當她打開信時，她卻看到喜帖上印的是她的名字。
When she was about to ask her friend what was going on, she saw the young man standing in front of her.
當她正要問她的朋友到底是怎麼一回事時，她看到那年輕人站在她面前。
He used sign language, telling her, “I've spent a year of time learning sign language, just to let you know that I've not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice. I Love You.”
他用手語告訴她：「我花了一年的時間學習手語。只是為了讓妳知道我沒有忘記我們的承諾。讓我有機會成為你的聲音。我愛你。」
With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger.
隨後，他將戒指套回她的手指。
The girl finally smiled.
女孩終於笑了。
